Hans-Otto Burschel, family court judge and director of the local court in Bad Salzungen (Germany), took on the WCLF expert group on professional law. Judge Burschel is member of Thüringen's state examination office and of the child protection commission of the "Deutscher Familiengerichtstag" (federal family court committee). He authored many publications on family law matters. Because of his long standing work as head of a working group for legal trainees he is also expert for practical legal training in Germany.
