Prof. Dr. Adalheidur Johannsdottir, University of Iceland, has been appointed to the Board of Advisories. Prof. Johannsdottir, who is Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, is a renowned specialist in environmental and natural resources law. She is a member of MARSAFENET, the leading international network of experts on the legal aspects of maritime safety and security and published both on national and international envorinmental und biodiversity law issues. From 1994 to 1998, Prof. Johannsdottir was director of the Nature Conservation Agency, an organisation of Iceland’s Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources.
